Run for Fun combines kids’ love for sports, nature, creativity and play. We pride ourselves on offering a highly personalized experience. Our Counselors understand the importance of connecting with the Campers on both the individual- and group-levels. Run for Fun Summer Camp provides memorable experiences that are safe and allow kids to grow. In addition to our hand-picked staff, Dave & Andy have a wealth of camp experiences that they bring to camp every day! Kids are drawn to what we offer because we believe, and are enthused about, the importance of bringing sports, nature and play into kids’ lives.
Run for Fun Day Camp
Summer 2021 Day Camps feature Four sessions, the first three sessions being two weeks in length and the final session being one week. This is a fully “on-campus” experience that will be engaging and will surely keep your kids moving, laughing and having a great time! The weeks feature sports, games, crafts and theme days within stable groups. Camp runs from 8:30am to 2:45pm, with Morning- Care at 8:00am; Extended-Care available until 5:30pm. Ages 5-12.
Operations During the Pandemic
Run for Fun Camps has successfully navigated our 17-week, Fall Afterschool program and 3-Weeks of Holiday Camps by following Santa Clara County & CDC Guidelines. This experience has given us a strong understanding of how we can safely serve youth during Summer 2021. Campers will be in stable groups of no more than 14 kids during the session (number may change based on County directives). You do not need to create your own group of 14 Kids, upon registeration your Children are placed with their own age/grade. When arriving at camp our Administrative Staff will administer a daily questionnaire and temperature check to each camper and staff. Campers will be distanced within their groups, and will wear face coverings. Campers / Staff hand sanitize before and after all games. Equipment is thoroughly cleaned and each Group has their own ball bag dedicated to their Campers. We utilize pool noodles as “distance checkers,” for safe distance and tagging throughout games!
Activities include classic field games, such as capture the flag, gaga ball, dodgeball, soccer, street hockey, scottish handball, knockout, kick the cone and many more. All of our games are adapted for social distancing. Additionally, there are crafts available for kids to have fun with. Crafts includes friendship bracelets, jewelry making, sand art, pipe cleaner animals and tissue paper bouquets. Campers can choose to craft at any time during the day, close to their grouping. All interested Campers will have the opportunity to participate in tie-dye, slime, and pearler beading during their sessions. Additionally, Each Session of camp will feature a themed week; such as Olympic, Superhero, “Minute-to-Win-It” or Disney Week.

Morning and Extended Care
Morning Care- beginning at 8:00AM
Extended Care- from 2:45-5:30PM
Morning and Extended Care take place on campus and include snacks and supervision. Morning and Extended Care can be purchased at the time of registration for $100 per week. Drop in rates available.
- Cancellations will receive a 100% refund up until May 1st. May 2nd up until the start of your camp date will receive 50% refund or 100% credit toward summer 2022
Create your own stable cohort On-Campus for Summer ’21
Do you want to keep your own cohort together for Day Camp in Summer ’21? We can help you out! Participate in the same games, themes, sports & crafts as everyone else at our On-Campus location with your OWN Private Pod Cohort. None of the On-Campus groups will mix, regardless, but create your OWN Pod if desired! What you need is a minimum of 10 children (1 coach + 1 CIT) up to 14 children (2 coaches; based on current County directive).
