Pinecrest Check-in, Check-out & Transport Information from Palo Alto and East Bay

Pinecrest Check-In

Campers who are taking the bus, Check-In begins at appx 10:30am – 11:00am in Palo Alto and 11:30am-11:45am in Castro Valley (check emails as we approach camp on the start of your session for specific check-in as times may adjust slightly). Be sure to eat a lunch prior to check-in or pack a lunch for the bus! The exact bus drop off point and pick-up from Palo Alto / Castro Valley will be finalized via email.
Campers who will be meeting us at Overnight Camp Pinecrest and NOT taking the bus may check-in between 3:30pm-4:30pm at Camp Sylvester (address shown above).

Pinecrest Check-Out

Check-Out for Campers riding the bus, the Transportation Bus will arrive back to the East Bay in Castro Valley at appx. 2pm and Palo Alto around 3:00pm on the last day of your Session.
Check-out for Campers NOT riding the bus happens right at Overnight Camp Pinecrest, and is anytime between 10:00am and 10:30am on the last day of your session ending.


Pinecrest Transport

Transportation fills up quickly, please choose this option at registration if you believe you will need transport for the 3 hour drive to camp. Once the bus spaces fill we can’t add more, and you will be responsible for transporting your camper(s) to- and from- Camp Sylvester.
One-Way transport: $100
Both-Way Transport: $200
Please note that bus transportation will involve a short check-in at both the Palo Alto and East Bay stop, followed by loading suitcases and boarding the bus right away. A majority of our staff will be up at Pinecrest setting up camp and awaiting arrival of campers. Please be sure to have all necessary Medications & Paperwork PRE-BAGGED and LABELED for submittal at check-in for a smooth process. Return bus trip includes snacks for all campers.
