Adventure Days

Adventure Day Camp uses a professional bus company to transport campers.

Each 2-week session of camp features 3 adventures with all other days hosted at Barron Park Elem. in Palo Alto. A typical Adventure day includes 30 minutes of play on campus before loading the bus for our destination. Additional staff members, including lifeguards, are present on Adventure Days to ensure camper safety. When Adventure Campers are on campus during non-Adventure days they will join the activities along with the rest of camp.

  • Seacliff State Beach: Dodgeball, beach volleyball, counselors vs kids tug-o-war, sandcastle building contest & sand art.
  • Huddart Park: Forts and fairy houses, kick the cone, team asteroids and games in nature.
  • Camp Jones Gulch: A day in the beautiful Redwoods filled with archery, swimming in a pool with lifeguard supervision, fort building, kick the cone, gaga ball, potluck dinner, optional campout, campfire, songs, skits, s’mores.

“My daughter LOVED the Run for Fun Summer Camp, she was sad when it was over. She enjoyed all the games, different field trips (Capitola Beach, Foothills Park and Camp Jones Gulch, La Honda) and the great Summer Camp staff. We plan on returning and can’t wait for next Summer.”
